German Chapter of INCOSE invites to the EMEA Workshop in September
Systems Engineers from all countries will meet in Mannheim
Bremen, August 21st 2017 – The German Chapter of INCOSE (GfSE e.V.) invites Systems Engineers to the EMEA Workshop 2017.It will take place from September 19th to 21st in the Congress Center Rosengarten in Mannheim, Germany. The bi-annual event is the meeting point for experts and beginners in Systems Engineering. The participants will meet in working groups and will conduct round tables to discuss and improve on methods, processes and standards. One example is the European and Canadian initiated international standard ISO29110 for the application Systems Engineering in projects by small and medium entities to. The topics which are covered in parallel sessions and tracks on 19th and 20th September are „Very Small Entities (VSE)“, „Automotive & System of Systems“, „Human-Systems Integration (HSI)“, „PLM4MBSE“, „Project Management (PM-SE)“, „Configuration Management – CM NextGen“, „Infrastructure“, „MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering)“, „Systems Architecture“, „Oil & Gas (Energy)“, „System thinking / science“, „Tool integration“ and „Integration Verification and Validation“.
On September 21st an optional technical tour is offered, a visit to the John Deere factory in Mannheim. As the number of participants is limited – based on first come first serve.
Furthermore the EMEA Workshop 2017 offers the opportunity to meet the INCOSE president Alan Harding (President INCOSE), Garry Roedler (INCOSE president-elect), Mike Celentano (Technical Director) and the EMEA Director Jean-Claude Roussel. At a special location with all participants, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of GfSE. Already registered participants are coming from companies like Shell, Thales, Renault, Bernafon, Volvo, UK Atomic Energy Authority, Airbus, Rijkswaterstaat and many other national, and international.
